The City of Darien is soliciting for competitive quotes for the purchase & delivery of water main repair clamps, various copper, and water-related appurtenances as per the attached list.
The attached proposed material summary sheet lists the materials and range of quantities based on a vendor submitted unit price. The City of Darien reserves the right to reduce, eliminate, or increase the specified material and/or quantity. The pricing shall be held in place from May 1, 2026 through April 30, 2027.
Additionally, the City will be entertaining two optional extensions: May 1, 2027 through April 30, 2028 and May 1, 2028 through April 30, 2029. Quotes will be accepted until November 12, 2025 until the hour of 11:15 am.
Quotes may be faxed to 630-852-4709 or emailed to rkokkinis@darienil.gov followed up with a hard copy delivered to the City of Darien at 1702 Plainfield Road and clearly marked as Water Main Repair Parts, ATTN: Municipal Services.
Any and all requests or addendums shall be made in writing to the attention of the, Superintendent of Municipal Services, at kthrom@darienil.gov. All requests will be responded to within 48 hours to all bidders on file.
