The City of Darien is soliciting for competitive quotes for dumping fees for various job site excavations.
The attached proposed material summary sheet lists the materials and range of quantities based on a vendor submitted unit price.
All loads shall meet the EPA regulations for Clean Construction or Demolition Debris (CCDD). The pricing shall be held in place from May 1, 2026 through April 30, 2027. Additionally, the City will also be entertaining two optional extensions: May 1, 2027 through April 30, 2028 and May 1, 2028 through April 30, 2029.
Quotes will be accepted until November 12, 2025, until the hour of 9:30 am. Quotes may be faxed to 630-852-4709 or emailed to rkokkinis@darienil.gov followed by an original copy delivered to the City of Darien at 1702 Plainfield Road and clearly marked as Dumping Fees, ATTN: Municipal Services.
The City of Darien will provide all analytical testing for spoils as required by the ILEPA and awarded facility. Any and all requests or addendums shall be made in writing to the attention of the Director of Municipal Services, Daniel Gombac, via email to dgombac@darienil.gov. All requests will be responded to within 48 hours to all bidders on file.
