The City of Darien is soliciting for competitive quotes for the various galvanized culvert metal pipe materials:
12-24 inch Culvert Metal Pipe Spiral
12-24 inch Band Connectors
12-24 inch Flared End Section
The attached proposed material summary sheet lists the materials and range of quantities based on a vendor submitted unit price. Prices shall include delivery, at various intervals. The City of Darien reserves the right to reduce, eliminate, or increase the specified material and/or quantity. The pricing shall be held in place from May 1, 2026 through April 30, 2027.
The City will also be entertaining two optional extensions: May 1, 2027 through April 30, 2028 and May 1, 2028 through April 30, 2029. Quotes will be accepted until November 12, 2025, until the hour of 10:15 am.
Quotes may be faxed to 630-852-4709 or emailed to rkokkinis@darienil.gov followed by an original copy delivered to the City of Darien at 1702 Plainfield Road and clearly marked as CMP Materials, ATTN: Municipal Services.
Any and all requests or addendums shall be made in writing to the attention of Municipal Services via email to rkokkinis@darienil.gov. All requests will be responded to within 48 hours to all bidders on file.
