The City of Darien is soliciting for competitive quotes for the purchase of bituminous binder and surface. The product will be picked up by the City of Darien at various intervals.
The attached proposed material summary sheet lists the materials and range of quantities based on a vendor submitted unit price. The City of Darien reserves the right to reduce, eliminate, or increase the specified material and/or quantity.
The pricing shall be held in place from May 1, 2026 through April 30, 2027. The City will also be entertaining two optional extensions: May 1, 2027 through April 30, 2028 and May 1, 2028 through April 30, 2029.
Quotes will be accepted until November 12, 2025, until the hour of 9:15 am. Quotes may be faxed to 630-852-4709 or emailed to rkokkinis@darienil.gov followed by an original copy delivered to the City of Darien at 1702 Plainfield Road, ATTN: Municipal Services.
Any and all requests or addendums shall be made in writing to the attention of the Director of Municipal Services, Daniel Gombac, via email dgombac@darienil.gov. All requests will be responded to within 48 hours to all bidders on file.
