The Darien Police Department remains committed to continually providing Darien’s residents and visitors with the highest quality of service possible, and to take those steps necessary to keep Darien as the safest city in the United States.

Thank you for clicking on the Darien Police Department’s official web site. As the expansion of the internet has resulted in an ever shrinking world, the need for a rapid and bi-directional exchange of information has also continued to grow.

Your Police Department's web-site is here to begin to address that growing need. The web-site is intended to provide you access to your police department, issues related to law enforcement, crime conditions in Darien and adjacent communities, crime trends, safety tips and upcoming events related to community interface.

The Darien Police Department is here to serve you. That philosophy of service will begin in the office of the Chief and be interwoven into the fiber of and every facet of our service delivery model and police operations. As we move forward I will be seeking your input on ways to enhance our partnership and communication, which will thereby increase our ability to collectively keep our community safe.

I look forward to working with each of you in the future.

Enjoy the Park

Hello from the City of Darien and Darien Park District:

On behalf of the City of Darien and Darien Park District we welcome you to Community Park for the summer of 2013.  This is a great time of the year to enjoy Community Park and we are happy to see you here.  This time of the year many families come to the park to enjoy all of the fun activities and special events.  As in the past, it is also that time of the year when some visit the park and disrupt the enjoyment of park participants.  This year we have started a program initiative called "Enjoy the Park".  In an extra effort to ensure your enjoyment of the park you will see an increased presence of police officers during open park hours.  If you observe anyone disrupting park activities please dial 911.

Thank you and we look forward to another enjoyable summer in the park.  If you have any questions please feel free to contact either of us.
