Junior Police Academy

The Junior Police Academy will be held from June 18 - June 29, 2012 at the Darien Police Department, from 9:00am to 1:00pm.  New participants should currently be in grades 5 - 8 and need to have a recommendation of a teacher, school staff member, or clergy member on the application form.  The Junior Academy curriculum consists of a wide variety of Law Enforcement topics, including:  What it’s like to be a police officer, criminal law, DUI, traffic enforcement, internet safety, defensive tactics, and many, many more!

Snack and beverage will be provided daily. There is NO COST for this program!!!
