Recently, residents have contacted the City in regards to receiving an insurance solicitation letter from an Independent Company. The company is offering an insurance policy to repair your underground water service line if it breaks. It is very unlikely and unusual that an existing copper water service serving your residence should ever rupture. These companies are not affiliated or endorsed by the City of Darien.
